Help, I've lost everything.

I've played about 350 hours on Valheim. Really having fun. But today, as the world was being saved, the program got hung up and I had to disconnect since neither the program nor Steam was responding. When I started the game back up, my world was there, and all locations marked on the map, but all my buildings, portals, loot, and equipment were gone except for what I was carrying. It's like the world reset, even though the map was marked. Is there anyway to reset this back to a prevous saved world?

Otherwise I've lost hours and hours on this game.....

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've just backed up my games many times, and I back up the save folder as well just in case. I even keep an offset back up of my games on a flash drive in case my house burns down. haha Now I'm not sure what you've done but if you have other saves I would, 1) Do a complete cold reboot of your PC, on Steam verify your game files in Valheim (look up how if you don't know), and then try and restore a previous save. I save very often in all these games like literally every 15 minutes. PS: Please don't feel too bad if you can't restore it, these things happen to everyone sooner or later. I've started Valheim and played all the way through several times now and built houses/forts/farms and all kinds of stuff all over. If you did indeed loose everything my suggestion is take a short break and maybe come back and start again when Mistlands comes out. And ....backup a lot. (At work in a big company an employee I knew ignored the backup rules and lost almost an entire years work. I don't know how he kept his job).
