Invasions are kinda dissapointing?
In the beginning I built a fort like crazy because I feared invasions, but now I find them too weak. I really wish there was some type of scaling mechaninc that would make you fear for your life and encourage you to build a strong base.

Personally I'd be in favor of an invasion rework. IE, instead of it triggering randomly, it triggers based on how much damage you have done to an enemy type (kill enough fulings, they eventually decide to strike back).
And they aren't timed either, they should leave whenever they are either all dead, or have caused enough destruction, and either killed the player or forced them to retreat in addition to that.
I like this idea, that you would be forced to deal with them. Even though they still won't get into my base, at least there is a threat again, because I might die having to get rid of them.
I would also support a raid red circle that is vastly larger than what it is now. Or at least, to continue to check for spawn points until one is found. If one understands the game mechanics, that enemies don't spawn in water, on steep surfaces or within the range of a workbench, then it's quite easy to block an entire red raid circle from creating any spawns at all.

Personally I think invasions is an aspect I don't want to spend time on, specially since the invading forces usually is the same type of enemies you find in the wild and drop the exact same boring stuff I trow into a ditch because my chests is overflowing with them all ready.

I thought the invasions were supposed to be harder as the my character's level progresses. The devs might look into this. Hope it gets better!

No. Invasions are tied entirely to server progress, mostly which bosses have been killed (along with certain mobs being killed above certain numbers), not to any individual character progress.

Well, being "harder" would have to mean something different than just more enemies, health or damage. At least for my more "advanced" defenses, having more enemies, health, or damage, would change nothing. They still won't get in and in some defenses, they won't even spawn.
So overall, I would have to say to keep it where it is. Unless raid or game mechanics are changed, I don't see that making raids "harder" really changes anything.

Invasions should be removed and replaced with more aggressive higher mob counts the further out you go. I'm sick and tired of having a troll completely wreck my base in the very middle of the entire map, in the Meadows, when i'm trying to go to the bathroom, I would rather have my base be threatened from the biome itself and not some rng bullcrap interaction. (yes i am well aware that killing the bosses/placing the heads whatever, will increase the invasion levels)
What's the point of building a tower in the Meadows, if some troll can wreck the foundation? Seriously, stupid decisions.
So basically the only option to avoid that is to build on an island, and i hate islands, i hate this game when invasions happen.

I had a surtling invasion today, they all drowned in my moat :) I do agree with the above poster though, troll invasions are really sucky. It is after I had an invasion that wiped out my new base that I started going for massive fortifications, ditches and so on. Either make them ineffective by defences or be prepared to lose all.

10m back from the moat, they cannot attack. :)

So you're blaming the game for the fact that you willingly and knowingly go afk instead of logging out? That's just clearly absurd of you.

As the game is in Early Access I imagine that creatures and events and even bosses are tuned to be on the easier side of things to enable a larger audience to experience the full content without becoming frustrated or overwhelmed, especially in a game with no difficulty settings.
I image this will be addressed at a later date, potentially with difficulty options.

I've often wondered if we shouldn't have some monsters who disdained to engage with lower level characters. Not worth my time, that sort of attitude, and of course such a monster would be invulnerable to any damage a beginning character could inflict.

I guess it depends on where you are in the game.
Currently if you beat the final boss there really isn't an event linking to the next biome yet. Maybe a hoard of boar size spiders that can climb over anything?
I don't mind feeling stronger and safer as I progress... frankly the last thing I want is to feel is that upgrades and progression make you feel weaker.
Then comes in the balance factor of having someone lower level join your world and basically getting wrecked constantly.

...and how do you think this forum would look like if invasions were made stronger to the point they seriously threatened your bases?
I'm not saying you don't have a solid point, but I believe the backlash would be far greater by those who just want to build in peace, or have invasions such as now - as slight annoyances.
It would be interesting if you could export your current world/build for a type of an arena/horde showdown. You'd keep your 'legacy save' to progress in but just for a fun and quick diversion, you'd have this duplicate save to try defend and survive in your fortress for as long as possible while enemies kept coming.
