The music. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Meadows music in particular.
After a 100 hours, I got sick of it massively. And despite it's an effective indicator of the day turning night or an event, I turned it off completely.

Deathsquito sound. Because I have some kind of mosquito anxiety. When I hear the sound of one in the night I can't sleep until I freaking killed it. But I understand how important the sound is in the game so no way around it.

use sounds from things that exist. If you need something to fill the quiet turn the music up a touch, but things that are not actually there should be at a minimum, not showcased front and center. Emphasized.

Yeah, I don't care for noises when you know things aren't around like after you clear a burial tomb. I find myself being on guard for no reason. When there's no enemy around, there shouldn't be enemy noises.

i find it useful, not that I enjoy the sound or wish for it. I am shocked when I watch people who are oblivious to it. I hear it, they don't even react. Until contact.

This one. It's the only one that annoys me. I actually really like the rest. My favorite is the sound of a surtling dying.

BTW, for those that don't know, the deer one is directional. If you spend time hunting, the initial will be to let you know they are there (and it's a bit directional but harder to pinpoint). Go into sneak, move slowly, listen for them to make a sound again. You can use that to tell what direction they are.

I second that deer barking is irritating. Previously, it was the excessive constant howling of wolves, but the devs solved that.

I go with M.Red's answer "when there is no sound".
We are used to hear sounds all the time. So real silence is a hugh problem for us and it suggest trouble and other things.

The barking for the deers is meh and they dont do it like that in real all the time only at certain times. So this whole time barking is more annoying then anything else.
I have run into deer by enyoing m time in the woods many times and I have never heard them make sounds. Either they run away or they hide and when you get to far near them then they jump up and run away. Had this was a fawn half a year ago +- we both were surprised.

Having made a base in the mistlands yeah the lack of sound is the worst thing in the game. Because its ominous. Thankfully mistlands are safer than meadows for the time being.
