yep exactly it was only one golem for me. stuff like this is good, imagine beeing able to find unique items or sth. lets just pray for content =)

The other day i found one in the ice caves too. It was in the area deep down it with 2 Golems so yeah golems can also be in Ice caves too.

Not really, world generation is quite literally RNG, sometimes you get him first black forest you come across, sometimes you can spend hours trying to find him and nothing. Same with crypts, boss altars, vegisirs etc.

Not if you're playing no-map. :-)

I found one of those as well, but it only came with a couple of bait, so it's probably not very useful.

Some seeds have all Trader locations that are pretty much unreachable until Plains.

In my latest play through, I got the rod and a few bait in an Ice cave - still haven't found the vendor and well into the plains with the only thing left to do is to beat Yagluth.
