Thanks for that info! I was wondering about that myself. Guess I’ll need to go and do some deer and wolf hunting post update

Can we carry chests in inventory? That be great for lightweight items. Oh wait, you were sarcastic and devs dont care. And we already were forced to have like 50chests in our mansions of valheim. Its just bad design and devs know it.

I guess the concern of the OP is that with new meat types what will become of the generic raw meat.

Will it become one of the types or just be nothing?

The simple answer is we don't know, devs haven't said anything on way or another.

kill a deer to get deer meat, kill a boar to get boar meat and so on.... I wonder where the onions could be found..... and the darkwood stuff... that will be nice to find out :D

2 star wolves offer savage base defense. There is nothing they cannot defeat. And they breed like rabbits.

I have not seen any mention from the devs about what will happen to existing raw meat. I wonder if it's already tagged somehow with the animal it came from.

I'm going to probably restart once the patch hits. I want to get a feel for how the game plays with the new food changes and I'm already pretty advanced in the game. I'm not a big fan of the way food works but I am not sure the new food is going to be any better, guess we will see.

As for the tames, they will probably be okay, they aren't changing the animals are they?

If food is getting nerfed numerical wise they are also getting buffed in that you won't have a degradation of stats over time.

They are nerfing the meat stats...lame.
Personally i don't feel we needed any food changes or additions because there is very limited use for it and we already had all 3 uses covered so WHY?
They are nerfing the Stamina so instead of running 20 feet maybe you'll get tired after 10 feet lmao.
As to the star wolves...ouch and why?
I have played through the game several times and have never needed any use from tames,I always had too much boar and deer stuff just from skilling up my bow and weapons.
As guard pets they are pretty much useless,well they are useless so again don't waste your time.
I get the idea of "completionist" peopelethat like to do everything a game offers but you sound like taming the wolves was painful and not for fun so yeah why?

All that should happen to the meat is new stats,there is no reason why a change in stats should reset anything.
