The mobs can raid your base though, but only when you are there. Defenses are still needed, but the best defenses are not found in your building menu.

you can also turn off frendly fire aswell!

Hi OP.

Pretty addicting as you can see from the hundreds of hours a lot of the forum posters have logged (i'm at 800+ as of this post)

No base raiding except by permission of course!
In cases where your not sure of your neighbours a "Ward" can be made that prevents doors and chests being opened by unauthorised folks. I mean it could in theory still happen if somebody took the extra time to break stuff like the ward but as their are NO public servers and folks only play with folks they are at least acquainted with I can see it ever being an issue.

Solo play requires you to take a bit more time and preparation - especially in pre boss fight situations. If you are impatient then may be an issue. But if your content to prepare plan and take it on the chin if you get killed despite the planning to try again, theirs a lot of fun to be had solo OR with a friend or two.

Its not complete its EA but very much worth the price even if not on sale. Good luck!

thank you guys, I plan to give this game a go as solo(offline if possible) maybe I'll wait some more time until they release more content or until 1.0, altho I dunno when's gonna happen.
