Be warned that if you have ventured too close to a certain area, even if it is not yet revealed, it might already count as "explored" and thus, no new content for this area will be generated once the expansion is released.

thats not what it says. as long as the area isnt generated yet, it should generate new stuffIt's explained in the FAQ pinned in this sectionSo new biomes arent but caces and dungeons are
