Installing is easier than expected. Only copying some files, start the game, thats all.

Only issue for me is the ingame resolution. The resolution only affects the UI and should be set to 1920x1080 to be scaled correctly. Otherwise the UI works fine but is too far away.

My problem is that the resolution sometimes jumps back to my normal res (3840x1600) and when I set it back I have to do it twice. Otherwise the hitboxes for the UI elements are dislocated (can't click an item then)

Maybe someone has a solution for this problem?

I've used it. It takes a little more tweaking than usual, like when enabling or disabling it. It is a very different experience based on how the controls work, especially for combat. Normally I love VR games, but I went back to flatscreen. It wasn't terrible, but it would take a lot of getting used to. It seems more prone to VR sickness than other games I've played, and I didn't even try sailing.

It's great, I love it.

Played Valheim for the first time in VR today. First impression is very good. It's a different play stile for sure and in overall it will be harder to play I guess. But that's not bad, it's only different.

In VR you play directly in the game, you are the character, you play as yourself ;)
Instead of playing a character via mouse an keyboard watching him via a monitor.

And the controls (Index) work perfect, especially for a mod. Feels like VR is a standard feature from the devs.

I can only recommend this mod for all who have an VR equip!

I tried the VR mod some time ago, and, even back then it was very good and a very different experience. Unfortunately I just can't stand wearing a headset for very long, so I haven't played with it much. I would recommend it for anyone else that has the equipment and is thinking about trying it.
