some of them are getting consolidated into the megathread in an effort to keep the front page more open. i've seen devs do this before as well as volunteer community mods. you'll be able to tell if a thread got merged as for awhile it'll still be in the forum and then say Merged for its thread title. then you'll click that and it'll take you to the thread it was merged into.

if there are threads being outright deleted, that'd be lame though.

Mine got outright deleted, and it had 15 comments on it, so it's not like I just said some edgy bs that deserved it; there was a whole conversation about my points. It is pretty lame, yes.

been there many times. sadly not much can be done about it when it happens. thread is gone. can either start it anew and see if you get a moderator warning about it, or move on.

bringing awareness of it happening does sometimes stop it from happening for a time though.
