altering the terrain heavily will effect your performance

the thing is it not just around the build its the whole server. it doenst mater where you are. i started freezing over 10kl from the build.

yeah its terrible, my game now sucks.
just after 2weeks of building it starts to freeze(and my pc specks are way above whats asked).
for me this is a real gamebreaking mechanic.
i like the game, but not a game that lets you build and then freezes you up cause you build to mutch.
Devs pls fix it or lose ppl..as simple as is.

Not had this issue and built a base 120m diameter. Big enough to have different weather in it. Current build is a 60m wide stone octagonal castle 25m high, with attached wooden village. So far no issues, half of that base is covered in snow, other in meadows. Have several thousand items stored in crates too.

Forgot to add, no mods.

Unfortunately, the game apparently starts to perform poorly depending on the size of your builds. This is one of those things that's keeping me from going crazy with my builds, as I would prefer the game not lag in the event a high-difficulty raid happens while I'm doing anything.

Would be utterly fantastic to try and fight off an army of Wolves or Fuling while your FPS has been cut in half simply because you built something large.

I sincerely hope the developers can iron out some extra performance in regards to this soon. :)
