Any advice for being corpse-camped by a boss and adds?
Managed to get myself into a bit of a bind, being corpse camped by Moder, a stone golem, and 3-4 wolves.
My corpse recovery gear is now on a corpse not even on the mountain top near my original corpse. My backup corpse recovery gear is next to that corpse.
I'm getting nuked from 200+ health at this point and have lost all will to play the game. Just moving around the terrain to get near to my corpse leaves me drained of stamina and a sitting duck: I use the run stamina power I die immediately, if I use the damage resist power I'm too immobile to escape death.
Any suggestions other than give up and try to recraft my gear before an invasion decides to add the cherry on top?

And lower sprint cost that stacks with Eikthyr, you can sprint non-stop for the entire minute. You get this buff called "Corpse run" the moment you pick your stuff up and I believe it lasts one minute? You get incredible health regeneration while thats running

First rule is, if you die to mobs at night, sleep and the mobs despawn if they were a night spawn.
Second rule is leave some food and cold resist potions near the mountain beds you sleep at in case you die. Drink the potion straight from the chest, do not pick up the stack otherwise you can die a drop them.

Moder is hard to get away from but she used to fight golems. Maybe you can get them to poke each other for a min while you grab and run.

Great suggestions everyone. Thanks.
I've got a ridiculous amount of stockpiled supplies, so I think I'm going to try to gear up enough to build a staging ground, and then from there see if I can just keep charging in with eikthyr power until one of my bodies makes it close enough for a supermarket-sweep on my original corpse.
If that doesn't work, I'll try to terraform my way there so that at least I have some protection from that ice-shards shotgun Moder keeps hitting me with every time I get snagged on scenery or a wolf. I figure the ice-shards will be blocked by terrain even though the frost-breath appears not to be.

I would imagine the Body Recovery Squad can probably help.

Oh this is cool. Gotta love a good community. For now I think I'm prepared to try it alone as a challenge thanks to all the good ideas in this thread. Thanks for the suggestion though, it'll be my backup plan.

Moder is a pain to deal with, but there's a little trick for getting your body back in general when it has a lot of enemies around it.
You get this buff called "Corpse run" the moment you pick your stuff up and I believe it lasts one minute? You get incredible health regeneration while thats running, so if you eat a lot of good food that buffs up your health(Assuming you would be one shot otherwise), you can potentially be unkillable until it runs out because you out heal the damage. Its at least something to think about, for example, Bonemass can't kill you in full iron while you have corpse run. You could stand in front of him and attack while not moving.

Try to build a portal as close as you can get to your corpse without aggroing Moder. Then eat the best buff food you have and jump through the portal completely naked. Sprint to your corpse, pick it up and try to make it to the portal.
Hopefully you can get your stuff back. I wish you the best of lucks.
Corpse runs are best done naked, as you then can just grab your stuff with one keypress, and you don't have to bother with an opening inventory, which takes precious time to sort through and close.

Normally I'd corpse run naked for the quick pickup, but I did at least prepare enough by having a light inventory, so if I died I could still do that even with gear.
Unfortunately I can't get onto the same peak to build a portal, the boss fight radius manages to cover the entire thing. The terrain is pretty awful, and of course the last time I backed my save up was about 18 hours of gameplay ago. (Oh for an actual proper save system.)
I can try building one closer than the bottom of the mountain, and eliminate part of the run, but it's not that stretch which is killing me. Or it wasn't while I still had some basic gear to fight off wolves. I guess I could try to zerg it.

If you have one item on you, the inventory will open when you try to pick you up. Even if you're very fast (I'm not, getting old) it takes time to close the inventory, and you may miss crucial parts of your gear. Plus you're probably getting hammered the whole time while sorting through your inventory.
Naked is the best. Eat the best stamina and health food you have. Use Eikthyr's power. Try to avoid all enemies. You CAN outrun them.
Good luck!

Also in addition to the other information folks are suggesting:
Golem and wolves will fight each other with the golem winning of course. You just need to be in render distance to watch the quick fight. Golems are slow enough to also kite them to some place that they can be stuck. If you range them, even with a crude bow, that should get their attention. Whether or not that is within moder's aggro range or not I dont know.
I usually prep for a moder fight by digging down close to the moder altar and then around in a circle. Usually its down enough and close enough that attacks by moder be it melee or range can't impact anything put down around it. Bed portal etc are enough. This too would've kept the golem off you and most of the times if you dug down straight, wolves usually wont get in.
Also a 4 set of wolves typicially are night spawns. Always start your moder fight first thing in the morning so you minimize the chances for it continuing on into the night.

Yeah, this sounds 1000% like a situation where you need to call the squad.

Yeah - this is a genuine situation as Moder's radius is indeed huge and the mountains do drain stamina. Do it in two stages.
You need to build a portal just outside that radius. Then run in naked fully rested, with your best foods and anti-frost potion. You're probably going to die as you have zero defense against drakes and wolves, but might get lucky. If that doesn't work or you run out of patience, I'm afraid you need to gear up to the minimum needed to handle wolves and drakes. That may mean troll armour, your starting bow and a flint or bronze axe.
- Eat your best foods. And a frost resist.
- Stop a lot to regain stamina and scan for wolves.
- Always move with high stamina, never letting it go below 40%.
- Wolves are dangerous. If you see or hear one, stop, engage at 100% stamina. Full stamina means you can handle being rushed by several and win.
- Drakes are a non-issue as you just side step and shoot them.
- Hide/sneak as needed.
- Avoid Moder and run behind obstacles, but "only" in the direction you came from, where you've already cleared all the wolves and drakes to avoid surprises. Because the way you'll normally die is if surprised by multiple enemies.
Good luck

Can you bring enough stone and metal to build a smooth staircase to the offending mountain peak? :D

Intentionally die near naked near the actual tombstone you are trying to recover, then gear up as best as you can, eat as much food as you can and then use eikthyr power/bonemass power + corpse run from the near naked tombstone to basically tank your way to your gear, and then quickly run away with your gear
