well looks like the game screwed you, keep in mind it's still in Early Access. I would just replace the missing goods via devcommands/cheats. Had a similiar situation with a friend he was fully geared with plains gear, his pc crashed and when he came back on he was naked with all items gone. So I gave him the stuff back via commands.

character is saved when you logout/quit
which means that if you crash it without saving... then unsaved stuff is lost
currently only world has auto-save (every 20min)

I've done some research and it seems this is an awful existing issue. I tried your advice and found out about the imacheater console command and spawned the items i lost.
I feel bad about it, cause it's not the viking way. But atleast it doesn't hurt as much as losing hard earned progress. Thanks !

In my opinion spawning something back in after a crash that you had already gotten is not wrong. Spawning it in because you don't want to work is different.

I just crashed and encountered the same issue. Poison resistance, health potions and serpent meat that i was about to make into serpent stew all in prep to take on bonemass....all gone.
What a waste of time.

If you lost a significant amount of gear, I would enable console and replace those items in a separate world from the one you play on. I have had this happen, but luckily I only lost a few consumables and didn't need to respawn anytyhing.

I wouldn't spawn anything other than the items you need to replace and the materials needed to upgrade them to the level you had them at, otherwise you'll just ruin the experience
