Hey! Thanks so much for all your feedback - Yeah I have no idea. This is my first character technically. Only other character I had was on a shared server (with a complete diff name), which I havent used since I first downloaded the game!
I've only had one character on this one server under this name, it was an area of the map I definitely hadn't been to - Like it was quite a distance I went into the unknown before I came across it - So I know 100% I've not been there before, and it's weird there were only feathers and coins in it.
It was starting to get dark which was scary enough in unfamiliar turf but to see something in the distance, get closer to find its a grave with your name on it.. was quite startling lol x (also ive never used cheats/mods and it's not shared or anything x

Your character is a time traveler, you've been there before then you go back to the time when you haven't discover the area.

I would guess you died there before and collected most of your stuff. The grave stone will stay if you leave anything in it.

Then the game glitched out for some reason and you lost your map uncovering progress in that spot.

Always found it strange on the community server where I played to find graves of people who were not introduced because they were only there a few hours or so.
The idea of finding my own grave, even though I haven't died yet no matter if glitch or not *shudder*.
Good that I don't believe in bad omens~.

By any chance are you on your first character? Or is it your second or third with the same name?

The only two explanations I can think of right now are:

1. It's a grave from your different character with the same name.
2. There's a bug making your grave disappear. Maybe they're not fully disappearing but teleporting into a different location for whatever reason...
