never seen one without yellow mushroom, have found void of critter or loot, spare a thing or two on the ground

I have found 2 empty dungeons before. Thought it was weird. Nothing but the yellow mushrooms in them, no chests, no enemies, nothing.

If there were skeletons then you were either very unlucky or your friend ran through all the enemies - grabbed stuff and then left as some sort of joke.

I've had dungeons spawn with just 1 surtling core before.

Yep, had a empty too yesterday
over all time two with only one cube
and my highest was 15 or 17 or so in one

I've never found a dungeon devoid of enemies. I have had plenty that had loot but no Cores.

Cores can be anywhere from 0-8 in my experience. But if the dungeon was ENTIRELY empty, sounds like your friend is pulling your leg.

Through all the hours I spent playing Valheim this never happened before to me. I still think it was my friend.

Best way to know if someone was there is to check for open doors. Doors always start closed and enemies can not open them. Most people won't close doors before leaving.

Another thing is look for the holders. Cubes always spawn in a holder, there may just not have been any in that dungeon. They will not spawn a holder without a core in it. If you find an empty holder then someone took the core out of it.

Idk if you can check in a dungeon but if you can, check if the doors were damaged. I haven't cleared a single dungeon without me or skeletons hitting the doors

Came across small crypts too, was hardly anything inside, it happens from time to time, getting a great dungeon with 60+ iron is pretty rare, its all about luck

Damn i thought 60 is a smaller one

But that can really be false memories, i thought on average a Dungeaon gives arround 80 Iron. Now i need to check that

Never had this but I wouldnt rule out a bug.

The first dungeon, I ever looted, right after EA, had no snurtling core, as well. So, this DOES happen...

Yea, my very first crypt on current seed had me 5 stacks of iron (~150). The bulk of it came from chests
The next one was super tiny, like three rooms, didn't even get a full stack... So that averaged it out

If chests showed up as "Chest (Empty)" instead of "Chest", then it was your friend. If there were no chests and all of the corridors were dead ends, that's RNG. You can get 20 cores and a TON of skellies in a burial chamber or you can get nothing at all. RNG has nothing to do with what you're used to or what you've experienced.
