Trolling? Why exactly?
That is how the game makes you busy, when you're idling at your base. I think you're just confused since there aren't that many games that do such thing, to make base idling more engaging, obviously.
Base dwellers still need to up their fighting skills.

Ever heard of our friend and savior, The Hole?

Leave a 10m gap between your build and dig a trench around your build. This simple trick offers protection against all kinds of raids except the dragons and the bats. Dragons won't raid you anymore after you deafeat the fourth boss, and bats won't raid you unless someone in your server killed some.

You can literally ignore ALL other raids and keep building while being invaded.

Coast bases can do exactly the same using Hoe and Stone, just build a natural wall.

Would love to see more raids in my world...

You might be busy, but that doesn't stop raids. The only way to avoid raids is to not be at one place for too long.

If you don't want raids, kill the bosses on a different seed. That's about all you can do if you're that attached to never learning how to fight.

If you enjoy building, then how about you enjoy building in more than 1 spot? That is how the game is made, and is how you are supposed to act to avoid being slammed with raids. It is not an advice, and it is not my personal one

I don't think it's your imagination. It certainly seems to me that since 0.212.5 they seem to be happening more often.

There't nothing in the release notes and the wiki still says "Every 46 minutes there is a 20% chance for a random event" ... but I wonder if they tweaked the time or % or if it got bugged when they added the two new events.

No, it is not.

I am not a faceroller, so 2 raids in a 4 hour playtime is excessive. Im sitting here working on building up . Troll raid, destroyed most of my wooded structure. Spent 40 minutes repairing. Got situated, killed the elder an hour later. Came back, preparing for my 1st swamp incursion and then a swamp raid happens. 3 hours and change provided 2 raids.

Sure, works for the dashers, but the laid back....it's no Buenos

If you don't kill trolls or let trolls get killed around you they won't get mad at you, maybe make a new world and take your stuff so you can build up before activating anything above Eikthyr's sausage and sauce cart

that's not great advice for people that enjoy building...they have to stay in their base. I logged on for an hour an a half yesterday to tinker with a building, and got raided twice. The second was blobs from the swamp and they killed all our pigs....grrr

That’s just RNG being RNG.

i've had like 4-6 raids in 117h. its rng. would have liked it if i got raided a bit more :P
