Flame Metal
ok so, im thinking about getting the terra...? mod that makes use of the flame metal in crafting new weapons.
the only issue is, how long... until the base game would use that metal? if i use it all in the mod, and an update comes out needing that metal? well the mod would be useless?
i guess what im asking is, how long until flame metal is useful, and should i worry about that update making us remake our server because the biome change (new boss etc structures etc)

If we start with facts first, it'll be awhile, downfall to finding an early access game you like.
Hearth and Home to go live in Q3.
Mistlands development probably continuing after that.
Stuff that was part of the original roadmap probably after that. (combat overhaul, ocean and ships overhaul)
They also mentioned they might go back to working on pushing updates faster by not bundling them up in a major themed release.

Hopefully stuff goes as planned and patches come as planned but not being prepared for further changes would be foolish imo.
