Game disconnects
After I downloaded the recent update, the game disconnects as it's trying to connect to a server my friend has. He and the others who play on the server are not having this issue. I have started the game with and without the Vulkan option it still happens. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game. It keeps happening. I can play by myself on a single player world but not on a server. Has anyone else had this problem since the update? Or am I just the special little bean who gets the oddity?

Hi, Same issue here, all My friends could join the server but me, tryed to uninstall both steam and Valheim but didnt work. At the end My friend sent me a link for fixes and they suggested me to delete the "Iron Gate" complete folder in the locallow's appdata and then reinstall. So i did, unlucky me it only let me join the server with a new character :/ (and the worst it's when i logged out and try to join again it shows the same disconnected error). I'll wait for a fix that can allow me to join the server with my first character :(( don't wanna lose the exp. SEND HELP PLEASE

The same stuff happens to me too. I can connect to my friends server, play for 30 seconds(up to 5 minutes) and then get disconnected(though I keep everything in my inventory I picked up).
I have old DSL that isn't all that fast, but I never had this problems with a game.

It's starting to look like its mostly people on crappy Internet with very slow upload speed. They need to revert this change ASAP. Whatever benefits they were trying to achieve are outweighed by all the people who used to play and now cannot.

well dunno what they did but i cant connect to my dedicated server in my network altough ppl outside of my network can join and play nicely. not the worst connection also 100down / 50 up. If i look my player file its same as doctordeath have.

I have same/similar issue, 200mb down, 85mb up, so not a slow net problem, my wife can connect to any server, no issues, I either can;t connect at all, and just get disconnected error message, or I manage to get in and get disconnected just after I load in

yep, we did speed tests and I actually have the fastest internet of the group I play with, however, I'm the only one who cannot join. Appears to be a Steam API thing as k_EResultNoConnection means my Steam client doesn't have a connection to the back-end. Hopefully they fix this problem soon.

I had the some problem. Something that worked for me was going to Steam -> Settings -> In-Game -> Server Browser Pings / Minutes and lowering the value to 250. Might be worth a shot.
