enemies, fish and etc, do, the rest of the content dont

Mistlands are generated in my previously explored areas.
Travelled trough my old Mistlands portal and the portal got destroyed on arrival because of the land generation.
Got some great new loot, however I need some time to get on a boat and retreive all of it.

It quite clearly says in the update that the new content does not generate on already discovered areas.
