yea hard to get a 2star wolf early since its in the cold,armor,food buffs are all lower tier.i only got one early one time, made a path of campfire up the mountain and just happen to be a 2 star.caught him in a pit trap

starred boar wont start showing up random spawns until your a certain distance from the center (1500-2000m i think). There is an exception to this where a stone writing spawn can have starred boars anywhere.

boars with stars can sometimes be found near rune stone (info stone) but they dont respawn there.. so if u see a good one.. capture it

Don't know about the 2 star boars, but you can defeat any boss in any order. I usually defeat Bonemass after I kill Moder and after I go to the plains and get better gear.

yeah but killing bonemass unlocks things like "a fowl smell" n other various attacking phrases

As far as I know, the starred animals spawning is simply a matter of RNG... There's no certain "unlock" to have them appear, they are just rare and can randomly spawn where any non-star ones would... If you find a spot where boars naturally spawn, just keep killing them and eventually you will get starred one(s).

its rng you will see a 1 star fast just go for that.then when your not looking for one, far from home you will see a 2 star lol.same with wolves,2 star wolves are strong and its deff nice to get one. for 2 star wolves it needs to be night i think,unless an update changed that

i still get my ass kicked some times by 1 star wolves man lol like ♥♥♥♥, bad stamina management n ♥♥♥♥. DEAD ASS soon enough.
