**ARMOURED PETS**

How cool would it be if pets, e.g. wolves/loxes, could have armour attached to them so they can be your personal combat pet when you engage in combat in Valheim? Maybe even another option would be that pets can carry saddle bags so they can carry any type of materials. (mode of transportation)

- Pets would get way more utility in this way
- The armour needs to have different kind of upgrades, just as the armour Valheimers wear
- If you're a solo player mostly this would also be benificiary in multiple ways
- In a broader perspective this could lead to a lot of customization options! which I think would be really good for the game as well.

What do the Valheimers say? good or bad idea? :)

you can put armor on them. fine. strap them on a cart, or dangle them off a longboat. idc, just hand over the goats

Heck yeah, goats! Thor's chariot was pulled by two goats, named Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr.

If they were good enough for Thor, they're good enough to go in the game.

I'm not sure barding(armor for animals) is warranted at this point. Riding a lox already negates being over encumbered so saddlebags perse arent needed either.

I think, given there's still lots of biome work and more to be done, that there's probably more to come that would make your suggestions less likely viable overall. Then again the devs may have some plans for that already for later game considerations.

I think they're trying to be very frugal with feature creep so as not to do too much too early in a player's play through(s).

*Semi Spoiler*

They're already in the game actually. There have been videos about that as they're the lightning splits during some storms as it travels across the sky.
