1st hardest: trees.
They are everywhere - and hit like a truck. They also cunningly aid other monsters by e.g. hiding a Deathsquito patrolling that Plains/Black Forest border...
2nd hardest: gravity.
Seriously. Try building without scaffolding while forgetting about food ;)

Shootin at stone golems and loxes with rested buff and wooden arrows, they are very resistant so u can shoot a lot and lvling twice fast than hittimg rocks

Bosses that are almost inmune to arrows are 3rd and 5th ( well , if u spam ice arrows to 3rd and silver arrows to fifth can make them in less time but they are almost inmune to pierce damage )

The 2nd boss is much harder than the first one. The third one is easier than the 2nd in my opinion. The fourth is easy if you take advantage of the terrain or even manipulate it prior to the fight. Haven't done the last one yet.

I found the 2nd one to be quite difficult because I made a brain fart and forgot to use my immediate surrounding to my advantage. The fight took forever and the boss ended up leveling a whole forest lol.

3rd one is extremely resistant to most damage, but what kills you is the environment.

4th one was the easiest for me, I think she got bugged tho and din't work as intended...

I go into every new boss without watching let's plays or stuff like that to make it more challenging, they're all "easy" when you understand their patterns and weaknesses.

Bonemass was tough for myself and my husband. We used iron maces on him so the battle wouldn't take so long as videos I saw where players used their bows on him. We worked together to deal with spawned blobs and a few random enemies who showed up for the fight while the other whacked away at Bonemass.

We have only now found out where Moder is located, but it would seem (from what I've read) that the next 2 will be easier to beat with the bow.

I completely agree. If I want to improve bow, blocking or various weapon skills, I go out at night and start hunting down the mobs. It's fun and any unwanted loot can be tossed off the end of a dock.

I would feel so bored of repeatedly hitting or shooting a rock. No judgement to anyone who does it.

It all depends on how much prep work you put in, really. Right weapons to exploit weaknesses, a good base/terrain, levels, etc.

I never grinded any weapon experience and refused to use bows, so for me the second boss onwards was decently rough.

No need to cheese the 3rd boss, is a simple tank and spank with an iron mace. Dead in under 3 minutes. He's only hard if a player doesn't understand the concept of damage types/weaknesses and/or stands in poison clouds. People fighting him with weapons he's highly resistant to is why some people mistake him for a challenge.

Sadly all of the bosses are cakewalks. They made a great game but really missed the bar on the boss encounter difficulty.

yeah the game definitely spikes in difficulty after the 2nd boss

3-5 are hard res are fun and easy with some planning
