What I hate is when I am attacked by for example, a group of seekers, if I don't have a somewhat level surface to fight them (like most places in the Mistlands), I am screwed.

I'll never understand the "welp, you've completed the zone! now you're ready to play through it :)" developer mindset. Like why don't the previous zones just set up your first steps into the new biome. It makes no freaking sense so much it makes me kinda miffed

Agreed, it's universally complained about but still not a peep from the devs of if they'll fix it. And yet now they wanna push a PVP update on broken combat lmao

Fixing combat mechanics for a PVP update seems like the purpose, if they are going to maintain the messy combat for PVP then what other content could they possibly add aside capture the flag.

yeah the terrain was a really bad choice imo, and you're means of dealing with it is only craftable after you've basically already beaten the mistlands, making it rather pointless.

No one said anything about easy bro. But go on and pretend the game is perfect and can't be criticized at all. Early access game = community feedback to improve the game, and there are a lot of valid complaints with this update.

I love the game, but it has issues and Mistlands has really questionable design decisions, and seems unfinished. Worst visibilty locked behind a really bad inconsistent light source, toughest enemies in the game and the worst terrain in the game. Heck, the game itself makes itself EZ mode once u get the featherfall cape which is contradictory to the whole games design, it makes no sense.

I've written a long review on my gaming groups discord, but its in norwegian so I wont bother pasting it. Lets just say after jumping around on ledges in the fog for 30 hours I've desided to stop playing Valheim all together. 600 hours of pure gaming love come undone. Oh well, its just a game.

Just finished my return to find mistlands only to find out I have to kill the last boss again to get some wisp ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. So I kill the last boss (everything feels weaker but stamina is stupid annoying now) I get the wisp ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and expect some Gandolf wizard level sight reveal for the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I had go through only to find I still can't see ♥♥♥♥, the terrain sucks and I'm getting stuck in the weirdest spots.

They took all of covid plus a year to release this ♥♥♥♥ after a hundred posts of saying "we aren't releasing yet because we are working hard on making mistlands awesome"...

It doesn't feel awesome...

It feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

The terrain alone is challenging enough, why the ♥♥♥♥ did they add all this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mist. There is not one gamer in any game that enjoys their vision blocked. I've never seen anyone ♥♥♥♥ the money bed like these devs have with this game.
