it also depends on your PC strength/capabilities. But most of the fps tanking is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization on the devs end. The mod community has taken care of these issues in a lot of thier different HD graphic packs and stuff. My fps doubled when i installed some of them. They also have some optimization mods as well. None of them require valheim plus and are just graphical updates basically. The game is still vanilla if you prefer it that way. But honestly the mod community has been working circles around this slow ass dev team. Considering valheim isnt even a new game just a re release of the failed first atempt. It came out over a decade ago.

Im pretty sure you're fps dropping just like anyone else on earth. What makes you that special?

Well, probably 3 things:

1- fire, smoke and (basically particles and reflections) effects affect my FPS way more than the terraforming, so i probably barely notice it compared to them
2 - aside from mining, i usually terraform former villages so i dont need to terraform as much
3 - i probably dont build huuuuge bases or big enough to notice the FPS drop like others do.

I've built a fairly complex city across 1 natural and 2 man made moats. My 3090 is starting to struggle to maintain even 30 fps. lol

I dont have fps drops with terraforming but i do with torches and fire's. But then again i only terraform former villages because i'm lazy.
