anything new
Hello fellow vikings. I played this game at release, twice with friends and solo. Did they add something new, which is worth replaying it for solo player? :) Thanks.

Depends on what you want.
If you only care about additional content to rush through, then you will probably be disappointed.
What IG did add is additional building pieces, the mobs and places where to get the material for these pieces, some short additional content in the mountains where you can farm a specific armor, a "troll" critter in the swamps where you can get another specific armor, several changes to how the food system works, lots of bug fixes and QoL changes.
I came in after Hearth and Home, so for me all of that was new at the time. The Ice Caves came after that, so I actually recreated my world with the same seed to get access to these. They are nice, but not like a complete new biome.
It really depends on you. If you like the game for what it is; a sandbox with lots of possibilities to build and explore, then you will like Valheim the way it is now, but then you probably would've continued playing.
If all you care about is new content to rush through... But I repeat myself. :)
See for yourself. That is the best advice I can give.
Edit: And there is the news section right here in Steam. ;)
Thanks!

Updates?
Are there any updates that have happened to the game that make it worth coming back to because i played the heck out of it when it first came out and beat the skeleton boss but i dont know if theirs any new bosses, bioms, or goals that are worth coming back to to come and try playing it again.

I'd rather look at the bigger picture... Pick any of the their updates and be underwhelmed. They basically only sold a great idea, then cashed out.
21 updates so far over the course of the 15 months since release and the updates have been coming out at a reasonable frequency.

That appears to me as solid developmental consistency and in no way looks like a cash-out.
While I can appreciate your disappointment with your remark, "any of the their updates", I cannot accept your conclusion. Development has not ceased and it continues. That is not a cash-out by any definition.
You may well have been sold on their great idea, but it appears that you have a lack of understanding of the scale and length of the development process.
Most games that reach a successful release from Early Access do so after several years and the average is usually around 5 years.
Your conclusion and the comments you made in your review say more about your expectations, minimal experience of EA titles and game development in general, let alone a clear lack of patience...
which begs the question, if you have no confidence in Iron Gate and their game, then why are you still here?
It is not as simple as amount of "updates". For example, there could be 50 bug fixes and balancing patches, and still not have any atctual content implemented.

There haven't been any major content updates, but if you haven't tried mods there's a number of those that have huge changes to content or how the game is played in general.

Actually, it is that simple. It is not as simple as amount of "updates". For example, there could be 50 bug fixes and balancing patches, and still not have any atctual content implemented.
You complain about the lack of new content, or at least the content that you would like to see.
However, I was replying to < blank >'s conclusion that the lack of new content meant a cash out.
Clearly and regardless of how overwhelming or underwhelming the updates have been, development continues. Wouldn't you agree? Or do you really believe as < blank > does that IG has cashed out and given up?
In any case, everything IG has done is solid development in that they identify and squash bugs, tweak and rebalance and optimise what they implement before any major new content release... and that is as it should be ;)

Mod support has improved too. The game can become much harder or easier plus more building crafting content added after HnH. Hello fellow vikings. I played this game at release, twice with friends and solo. Did they add something new, which is worth replaying it for solo player? :) Thanks.

i was in the same position and started playing again from scratch. i am enjoying it more than i did the first time. i think the food system is improved. they added some item recipes to make the previously useless loot useful to some extent. i think they streamlined the iron mining in crypts. there is at least one new enemy that was quite a shock. i am only at iron so far so there will be more to see. all that said, the core gameplay loop is the same, so if you never wanted to chop another tree or plant another carrot you will still have to deal with that.
i came back back after playing new world and lost ark. At least in valheim you dont have deal with the botters and hackers. That is what i really needed a break from.

Nothing new apart from some additions like building part or a new resource in the plains.
