:D The occasional Huge obstacles to progression / reclaiming your stuff are what makes Valheim produce such Polemic reactions. Some love it some hate it and some of the "haters" (small h) bring on the mods.

This is as it should be. What would be good if more ability to customise the game via settings page so those that like one style or another could customise it without the need of third party modders to do quite so much work..

Ouch thats rough. Try making a small portal enclosure outside the mine next time before going in. Makes dungeon diving much less stressful.
