I would have done it myself but iv'e already gotten WAY more than 20$ worth of entertainment out of this game and my unsolicited opinion on development times means nothing.

I like this game as is. I’ll wait it out. Same with No Mans Sky. Same kinds of posts about devs taking the money and running. NMS is now an awesome game. Other game never made it. I think this will follow NMS as strong finisher.

^Clearly by your developmental standards, all of these companies and their games, especially the games in bold are excellent examples of developmental failures right?

You two waited for 16 months. Not 16 years. Okay, let's be more realistic. If IronGate Studios hadn't made any updates for the last 16 months, I would agree with you, but they made 29 updates and they are super active on Discord.

How do you know also that "actively working" surely you jest, and please don't say its ONE screenshot in twitter with nothing special literally, because frankly that's just throwing sand in people's eye's, "Alright their set for the next year with this SS", without proper working new gameplay people can't rely on this cheap marketing stunt.

I agree with the OP, has a dev team who might i add made a ton of money with this EA you SHOULD be pushing out more content so the game continues to be relevant, they are literally letting modders carry their game. It's really a shame because most of us like the OP are just waiting on something that actually makes sense in game progression, don't get me wrong i love this game but the frustration at this point is real.

For how long was game in development before release? Because with current trend it would probably mean they've worked on the game at least 10 years prior. The issue is it takes way to long. They've made this great game in a couple of years and now it takes them year and a half(or maybe two?) to just add one biome? At this rate the game will never release. It's just sad.

The update is coming soon... They just opened up the testing branch a few days ago to allow players (via passcode) to play new content and give feedback about any bugs or problems, so Iron Gate can fix things before releasing the update.

Just because you are "disappointed" does not mean that the devs are not working.... It just means you are impatient and delusional about how long it ACTUALLY takes to make games from scratch, (as Vaheim is).

Cant we all just move along. Seems like this is the weekly topic, try searching maybe. Release will release when release releases. Everyone has a life, even the devs.

Yep, it's delusional that No Man's Sky is an identical copy of the situation with the Valheim team, that's delusional but definitely not that they are sitting on their laurels for a very long period of time that's not delusional at all nope not even a little bit what-so-ever so just blame yourself and not the people making the game because it's all in your head.

This is called gaslighting, it's disgusting, and anyone participating in it deserves the very worst of ends.

Who's actually delusional here, look at what the modders already done for this game it's insane and i bet what they are doing in PTR isn't even remotely close to what's already out there, you are white knighting for the sake of it, there's no excuse for this sloth of a development 1 year+ for 2-3h of "content"? After they bagged a ton of cash, yes we are delusional.

Might be speaking for yourself on that one honestly it does seem like there are people who genuinely hate this game and stick around to complain and be upset.
