Fire will not stay lit (Mistlands) - RESOLVED

It has a roof and 10 wood, but intermittently lights then dies a minute later. This only started with Mistlands today.

The only times I've had this happen is when the fire is 'too close' to a wall, roof or other building piece. Is your fire next to any of those? If so, you could try moving the fire or giving it more space.

main reasons fires wont stay lit is usually due to the fire getting "choked out" by smoke (not good enough ventilation), or fire is somehow getting wet.

it's ventilated and dry, not even raining. I suspect it's a Mistlands bug. I've built a lot of houses and fires, so am aware of mechanics.

I havent played the public test but I keep seeing posts about the MIST which might very well be a mechanic of that biome and not a bug afterall... MIST, by definition, is wet.

That would be my guess... perhaps there is something more which must be done to prevent the fire from flickering on and off.

on inspection I found a roof part clipping into my chimney. Removed it and its better.
