Steam Workshop

I am sure it has been mentioned before, but ...yeah! I understand the devs want a game to have a start and end...cool. However mods make the game so much more enhanced and replay-ability.

I know mods exist and can be used via various sites...but Steam Workshop is imho the safer route to go. Anywho this suggestion is a please do before the game is finished or at the very least enabled after it is complete.

Nexus is fiddly due to how their mod manager works. Lots of elevations etc etc to play with per mod.
Thunderstore is a much simpler process. Search for the name of the mod you want. Click it, click install, done. And if you dont want it anymore just hit the disable button.
I havent had a problem with mods from either source, mind you. Its just that for me at least Thunderstore is easier to use.

I mod other game's and I would love to make some for this as well. But would find it much easier for it to be on steam workshop as well. I do use Nexus to host many of my mods, but I find Nexus has to many steps to upload and update mods. And their mod installer leaves much to be desired.

Maybe when they finish the game in a few years. Modding with the Nexus is better IMHO.

I'm currently using Valheim Plus mod from Nexus Mods. You can enable the kiln to automatically pull wood from a box then place the charcoal back in it. that's one example out of the hundreds.

At least in Valheim, installing mods from Nexus isn't that hard for any average gamer even if you use "manual installation", so I would rather devs focusing on something more interesting than bringing workshop support.

It does for today's average gamer so it appears. Just like " look at how awesome I am" achievements, dlc, shops to buy more "look how awesome I am" skins, mounts, etc, etc.
