Just wish your friends could see each others markers if you're made visible to other players, have an ability to toggle that on too would be nice, but otherwise I love the ability to mark my map.

build the cartography table. It shares markers and map exploration. And then go through your friends marked spots and left click to make them your own. Remove any excess and boom, everyone has info shared.

Be careful when clicking the death and boss symbols on the side. They will erase your markers!

Don't do this if you have an unclaimed tombstone out there.

How do you set a mark? I can't find anything on the map that will let me do that. Secret key?

When you open the map, select one of the icons on the bottom right that you want to use to mark your map with. Then double-click the map to set the marker, type what you want the name to be then press enter.

Open map, double click. You can also choose icon for your mark

Click twice to set.
Click once on mark to set a red X over (as in done already)
Right click to remove

Devs!, the game needs help bubbles for not only this but the build menu also, and many other things in game.

You can also delete map markers by right clicking. This works on death markers too, if you want to clear those off your map. It'll also delete your bed marker and boss markers (maybe even the trader marker, although i haven't tried that) so be careful
