Actually the game could be "ready" now but they would still need to wait for the date they set.

I suppose there is a time set to "push all the buttons at the same time" kind of thing but who knows.

If the devs control it then it may come out in 45ish hours from now. This would be around mid day for the devs timezone and allow them to handle any emergency bug fixing.

If valve controls it then probably 52ish hours from now. They may want to advertise push it so want a different time than the devs...

No one really knows though and last second things may crop up.
