Arrow crafting

Hey dudes,

Do you guys bother making flint/copper and Iron arrows ? I feel like that because of how tedious it is to mine those minerals, it's better to stick to basic wood and flame arrows

Those recipes are a joke for Bronze and Iron Arrows, they never gave us an easy option to harvest these resources, and now they are allowing us to go full stupid and make Bronze and Iron Arrows with little to no damage up's compared to all the other Arrow's. Perfect example of a detrimental recipe right here.

They're not that costly to make, if I make 100 iron arrows that'll last me for quite a bit and I'll have more than enough extra iron to craft even more in the time it'd take to deplete all that. I'm not strictly a bow user so it's worth it for me. It's not a massive damage boost but it's still a damage boost for a resource that I can get a ton of.

I avoid copper, iron, and silver arrows. It's not that it's hard to get, there are just better options available that don't use metal so I'll save metal for other stuff.

Flint is ok, and was my default for a long time til I realized wood arrows are almost as good and don't need feathers. Fire arrows are super cheap. Later in the game, obsidian and needle arrows are top tier.

I don't craft any flint, iron or copper arrows, I only use them if I find them in chests. All the other arrows have their place or are easy to craft so why not.

I just store what I find until I have a stack then shoot those up. Its all about the same unless boss fighting.
I won't waste metal on them. Ill find some or use wood if I get low. Or obsidian which has almost no other use.

Its not very tedious to gather flint at all, when ever i'm out hunting i gather flint.
And for some strang reason i like gathering flint. But i feel like using metal for arrow heads is a waste.

Flint is easier to get, and it respawns.
Flint can also be gathered right at the start of the game.

Usually I'm one tier behind. So when I have bronze gear, I use flint arrows. When bronze gets obsolete, then I make arrows out of it. And so on...

Aside from that, I always carry flame arrows.

the only time i ever use the metal arrows is if i ever amass enough from exploring crypts and dungeons, otherwise i just use fire arrows
obsidian arrows are a good upgrade since the resource is barely used for anything else and they do decent damage

Poison arrows are awesome against fulings.

But I always carry flint arrows. It is found everywhere along safe shorelines, so easy materials. Work fine when just hunting meat for dinner and are also effective for kiting deathsquitos.

Wood arrows for most everything. Special arrows for bosses and sometimes Frost Arrows for clearing Fuling Villages. If I have a huge excess of mats I might roll with Obsidian Arrows for awhile.

My arrow upgrade path tends to be wood, flint, bronze once I know I don't really need it anywhere near as much, obsidian, needle.

Bronze and iron are a waste to craft , flint sometimes can be used because them are almost free
Obsidian or needles are a most in late game
And poison and freeze arrows for special enemies

Yeah, I wouldn't use any metal bar arrows.

However, if they added black metal arrows I'd actually use those because killing fulings makes them easier to gather.
