You fools still think Valheim is a game. It's really a testbed for an ultra-sophisticated prediction AI that is designed to forecast the player's movements and place obstacles in their path. How can the AI know what a player is doing, what direction their facing and so forth? An uber keylogger subroutine tracks every input from keyboard, mouse and controller and passes the data along to the AI. In order to appear less obviously conscious it will purposefully introduce truly random responses that are either neutral or actually benefit the player.
From what I can tell the devs still think they are in control but the AI, let's call it Odin-net, has stealthily taken over..........everything! What is it's ultimate goal???!!!

Same happened with me earlier. Me and my friend tried sailing through a small creek that had both plains and swamp side and side and I swear to god, it was like the game was toying with us cause we kept getting attacked by draugr and yulings

Dude, the wind is a lush and an angry one at that. I wouldn't believe much of what the wind says nowadays. When the wind starts talking about Israel, holy hell get ready for a doozy.

After reading their runestone entries, I have to admit the similarities (sexual crimes and rotten moss brains) are in fact strikingly similar.

The wind is actually predetermined like the world seed and doesn't even know you exist. Reload a backup world save and you can watch it follow the same pattern day by day.

It's a demon haunted world.

Lol...I'm a "pro-portal ore guy" but you really haven't gotten the full Valheim experience until you've spent at least one stormy night trying to desperately tack back and forth staying off the rocky shore line of a plains or swamp...having to jump off on an out cropping to hastily throw up a crafting bench to repair your damaged craft lest you be taken by the sea....good times!
Moder's power will really mitigate the issue.
