Seriously there needs to be a despawner item that does what it says stops ALL spawns not just monsters

the quick and dirty way is the use of devcommands (forcedelete)
but using this command in an allready set up home might be bad idea
better use this commands before setting up a house

That mod will do it but you need to read how it works.

There is no non-mod way to remove spawners for things like flint and dandelion.
