Except that you can't use devcommands on a server without a mod - it's only accessible in vanilla for local single-player and when you're the host of a multiplayer game world through your client.

the second you see the event LEAVE your base and kite them away... put up earth walls 3 or 4 blocks high.. build on an island or dig a trench. You can check YouTube for various tactics..

Dig a ditch around your base, build walls and be sure to build work benches around your base to prevent enemies from spawning in that area.

The raids are there to kill you, not destroy your base. Your base just happens to be between them and you. When a raid starts leave your base, or sit in your base and watch it become materials again.

Your base is collateral damage, trolls wont proactively destroy it more they hit it while trying to hit you. If you hide, they will attack certain structures (workbenches, torhces etc).

If you're going to build a wall, you need to do it right. Make sure it's all snapped together otherwise enemies will find gaps.

You then need to fill in your base area with workbenches or fires/bonfires to prevent things spawning inside the walls.

This isn't the kinda game that lets you do what you want. You either do what the devs want or mod the game.

So you can't just "build with your friends without being bothered" if you play the vanilla game. The devs have this thing about forcing people to do things their way, they don't like options or choices.

So deal with the raid and go kill the attackers. That's what the devs want you to do, so you have to.

Otherwise mod and use Valheim + and set workbench spawn radius so far out they just will never attack your base. Then you can build in peace.

That or build those god forsaken terribly ugly walls or ditches. Which I refuse to do. Why build something beautiful then destroy it with ugly perimeter. Ick.

Bronze buckler is enough to parry trolls just eat meaty food, an atgeir can also stagger leading to an easy take down and an abyssal razor or better can stagger them in the combo just take on the trolls head-on. The ground won't be shaking for much longer...

Otherwise yeah if you want to play the game and build you're going to need either defences or leave your base to kite away raids.
