I wonder what happens when you activate both in sequence. Are they allies?

You can actually activate just one multiple times in a row, and all the spawned bosses try to kill you while relatively ignoring each other. Multi Eikthyr fights are pretty fun and add a bit of spice to an otherwise easy boss.

Most bosses have more than one, on any given map.

normal thing - found 3 altars for Eikthyr on the starting island

Still normal. If they were overlapping ontop of eachother that would be rare and interesting
