I quit playing because of the Mist and Fog, Should I return to the Valheim? Any changes?
I love the game Valheim, especially sailing and exploring. But I quit playing and deleted the game after mistlands, not because it's hard, because the fog irritatered me. Even the fog is limited in some areas trying to see what's happening in the screen is not my type of gameplay. I think it should be optional to open or close the fog in mistlands.
Are there Any changes about that?
Should I install it again?

Short answer: Probably not.
This makes me wonder how many people there will be asking if lava streams in ashlands could also be toggled on/off at will.
Do you have to ♥♥♥♥ on everyone that doesn't agree with you that mistland are the best biom ever? Did it ever occure to you that your opinion is just that: your Opinion? It is neither the "right" opinion nore the majority opinion probably?
Most game features exist because they are meant to exist. Being able to toggle every single even remotely tedious or annoying feature of the game one by one just takes the game away. So yeah, I'm going to disagree with that. Boohoo.
Why don't you take your own advice and stay away from threads in which you have literally nothing to offer except disagreement with someone else over something that doesn't have anything to do with the topic.

The wisp light and the wisp torches don't do ♥♥♥♥. Say the ashlands causes burning, the equivalent item in ashlands would add wet effect but not actually remove burning.

It's obnoxious, isn't it? Though their opinion is their opinion and therefore right for them. And they're less annoying than some, and I tend to respect the majority of their other opinions...Short answer: Probably not.

And I'm certainly not above being obnoxious myself.

Maybe I should have added that I found him in basically every thread that points out the problems with mistlands. Otherwise I wouldn't even have bothered to make a post.
People can like mistlands I don't have a problem with that. Most people don't and that should be fine too.

To be fair, I'm likely in most of the mistlands threads complaining about the mist. Also there are several people on both sides, and it takes a certain mindset to bother to come to the forums - who knows what the true numbers are. It's obnoxious, isn't it? Though their opinion is their opinion and therefore right for them. And they're less annoying than some, and I tend to respect the majority of their other opinions...

Still. As far as I'm concerned the Mist is broken and I'm waiting on the devs to fix it, even if they don't think "it's impossible to see" is a bug...

Speaking on behalf of other visually impaired players I have to say the devs messed up on Mistlands. No amount of learning how a mob behaves will make up for not being able to see it. Especially with the way that the devs lock things you need to survive behind surviving long enough to get those things.

My thoughts exactly. Makes me wonder also if there will be an item that's craft able which helps with traversing in Ashlands and how well optimized it will be.
Get your fire resistant potions ready.

Makes me also wonder if there will be a craft able item that helps of traverse ashlands much easier? 🤔🤔🤔🔥🔥🔥
Most likely, but it probably won't involve toggling a major game feature on or off.
Well okay, feather cape kinda toggles falling damage off. You got me there. But at least it's not a game setting which outright removes a global element from play for every player.
Also, wisp torches exist. They quite literally remove the mist.

There's a utility item you can make after crafting something you get from defeating Yagluth. It's cheap and makes the Mistlands much easier to navigate. Otherwise devcommands and/or mods can remove or lessen fog for you.
RE: Ashlands lava I wouldn't be surprised if the Mistlands boss placeholder item (much like Yagluth had before Mistlands update) will likely be something that makes Ashlands much more doable.

I doubt it will change, so you'll have to go the mod route. Mistbegone mod specifically gets rid of it. I just wish there were a mod that reduced it, but didn't eliminate it, but my squinting headaches are gone, so I'm having much more fun.

I doubt it as well but there is a chance they improve the whisplight after all those complaints. There is still hope left lol... I doubt it will change, so you'll have to go the mod route. You can try the command "env clear" with devcommands ON, this works for the normal weather but it might not work for mistlands, give it a try

No real changes at this time.
your three main options:
there are mods that remove the mist. I don't like mods, but if you want to go that route..
you can place a VERY CHEAP TO MAKE torch that clears the fog, and with enough of them make a pretty fair sized working area but exploration still stinks.
you can man up & get what you need from this biome and never go back, or only go back to your lit base to grab a few pieces of meat or whatnot. You can troll the biome edge and pick up dead bunny from cross biome mob wars, and the bugs come to you at night anywhere, so a little mist cleared base for sap & shroom can be all you need after suffering through it for a few days. I think I was done in ML after about 1 week of 2-3 hours a day, but experiences/maps/etc vary a bit.
