I can't find my friends server either and I have to use IP address every time. The game needs a way to favorite servers or something. There is no fix for not being able to find a server.....you just will never find it.

So ask for the IP+port and do it that way.

If his hosting the game locally make sure he has his steam profile on friends only and not private cause having it on private and in many games that use the steam friends list they will not show up at all.

Oh, I can find it through Community, just not Friends which I'd expect to be able to do.

If your friend is set to Offline, IIRC you can't join them via the "Join Game/Lobby" option.

All I ever do is go by Join Game on my Steam friend's list.

Yea make sure you're both online and not invisible, my friend and I had a hiccup once because he was set to invisible so I couldn't see the server.

Might add this in case it helps someone. Make sure the host has checked the "Start Server" box before starting the game.

It's okay I refunded already, I suggest you do the same because your friends won't help you with your problem.

I've entered IP in Steam to join server, or joining server in-game by name. Depends on the server.
