1. We truly cant answer this question for you. Its up to you read the updates done since you last played and firing up the game to see if it matches your interests at this point etc.

2. Morbid curiosity but how many hours played brought you to that conclusion? Your current account doesnt seem to show you have V Rising on it so did you play it on an alt account? I'dve not asked otherwise but I was just curious what the "done" hour average was coming out to with that game.

I'd wait until Mistlands update. Yes, there has been some new content added here and there but nothing with any real meat on the bone.

I wouldn't recommend trying to get back into it if modded game is what interests you. Currently, there are too many mod breaking small/meaningless updates. So each time you see any update it crashes your game and you have to wait for modders to update their mods...if they feel like it or you are SOL.

It really is a subjective question.

I enjoy exploring new seeds, establishing a foothold, trying to be all iron man and so I don't necessarily need new content to keep playing (but new content is always welcome).

I also play other sandbox-ish games like KSP (Kerbal Space Program) and even though I have landed on different planets (some consider this 'beating' the game) and there is no new content I still enjoy shooting Kerbals into space.

I suppose if you play with the goal of defeating bosses as quickly and efficiently as possible then I would agree with those that suggest you wait for another content drop.

But if you enjoy the other things the game offers then I would argue it offers value as is.
