LOL, I'd have to say to you, Mr. Dinosrectum, that posting your uninformed sneer on a game forum you have not played isn't a waste of time. It will give many people a good laugh.

You know that the player count drops in games like this one because people come to the end of the content, right? You know it's because a lot of players sank hundreds of hours into it and have seen all it has to offer, right? You know that doesn't make it an over-hyped game, right?

It's not an MMORPG. It doesn't have to hold a high player count for years in order to be successful. It's not that kind of game. People are still playing. A lot of us are giving it a break until they add more content.

It was worth every cent, and was certainly not a waste of time at all. I enjoyed the game more than mos that I've played. Maybe this just isn't the kind of game that's for you.

Nothing has been cancelled, some of the roadmap is being delayed and it was an ambitious roadmap to begin with so it wasn't likely they were ever going to meet all of it anyway. The dev team also mentions how such a huge influx of players highlighted so many more bugs and issues than they could imagine, and they've shifted focus (and rightly so) to fixing a lot of the issues so that (and the global pandemic... remember that?) has definitely had an impact.

I'm not laughing, I'm shaking my head. It's an opinion, though, and mine is that they have missed out on a great gaming experience. 20 bucks for nearly 200 hours of fun? Totally worthwhile.

Oh yeah, and we're still looking at a 91% positive review percentage (recent) and 96% positive overall.
