Alguno esta usando la version de steam o una no legal ? Por que si uno si usa la version de steam y el otro no , por obvias razones no se van a poder conectar entre si
Habilitaste tu juego para que pueda entrar alguien mas ? Recuerda que antes de entrar a tu juego puedes tocar el boton abrir servidor y ponerle contraseña , pasarle el nombre de tu mundo y la contraseña a tu amigo y ahi deberia entrar si ambos tienen la misma version de steam

Accordingly to what I already read (and personally experimented in the online server I'm playing) your friends should (1) update the server's game version to the last one, and (2) restart it.
As I'm not a server admin, I don't know if just restarting the server is enough, 'cause it auto-updates.

Bjørn, your assumption is mostly correct. For the OP, the server admin must stop the server app, then update to the latest patch, then restart the server app. The Valheim server app doesn't always automatically update.
