RANDOM MAP SEED

PROS

New map every time nothing is the same.

chance to get lucky

Always new things to explore


CONS

Could end up with worse map seed of all time

May end up with swamps with no crypts, bosses could be literally anywhere

Could possibly not even have a big enough river/ocean


ACTUAL MAP

PROS

It will definitely have the even amount of crypts/caves everywhere in each biome

Bosses will be placed in specific locations

After playing multiple times you can literally have a favourite placement to settle

Don't have to rely on a good seed, you get what you get.


CONS

Same map each time.

You will know where everything is, not much left to explore after you explored the map


This is my pros/cons list.... It's like ARK the island map, its good, it's fun and I don't have to rely on a seed to give me something good and the map is big enough...... 7DTD/Valheim I have to rely on the computer generated seed and pray they give me a good start (Hate how 7DTD changed the navezgane map)
