Your funniest Valheim experiences (possible spoilers)
Out of curiosity or maybe just to have something funny to read for everyone. What was the most funny thing you have witnessed in the game so far? I'll start, always wanted to share this:
I had already played quite a lot when I managed to get a friend to play together on a dedicated server, he was playing it for the first time. It was when we were in bronze age and had just built a karve (everyone had their own base etc.). One day I logged in after work to immediately have him screaming at me for help. He was trapped on a leviathan, a serpent had destroyed his karve and was now lingering right before him, idk how long he had been waiting there :D or why he didn't use his bow... or if he had one with him at all, lol.

Two days ago, I fought The Elder ... It ended up get stuck inside the bolt-hole with me that I was using to snipe!
It couldn't quite reach me with it's swipe, and was completely blocking my way out. I had to put it down.
_____
Another time, I went to use my Karve after a storm and I found it levitating above the water. Reloading didn't fix the issue. I had to bridge out and jump to board. It finally *fell* back into the water after that event.

Tried to sail to one of the Yggdrasil branches, and as I got closer, I noticed the water was getting frothed and was rapidly flowing in one direction. I figured, hey, I have a nice tail wind to make a possible jump...NOT, lol! Big waterfall of death. OOPS! No more sailing off the edge of the world for me!

I had a nice spot at the edge of a mountain/black forest/swamp merging area. I was fighting an abomination just as night fell and a wraith spawned (still using bronze gear with an iron shield at that point). I retreated out of the swamp and into the black forest fighting in retrograde and backed into a 1 star troll and one of the nighttime graydwarf swarms.
The gray dwarves attacked the wraith and the troll attacked the abomination. I stepped to the side and watched the fight not paying attention to what else was happening. About halfway through the fight a nighttime swarm of wolves came down from the mountain and wiped out every thing.... including me.
I respawned in my base. slept to let the night pass by, ate food and portaled back to the closest spot and walked to the scene of the battle. I picked up my corpse and gathered all the sparkling stuff. The night time wolves had despawned but they had killed every thing before that happened.
I also have a spot that has a dragur village right next to a fuling village. I'll climb a hill in sneak mode and watch. Every 3 days the fulings and dragur will respawn and then fight it out. The dragur will win because there are body piles in the dragur village that will continue to spawn dragur.
They don't attack the buildings so the fight lasts until all the fulings are killed and then I just sprint down and collect all the sparkling stuff laying on the ground.
When I first discovered it I was using iron gear and a troll cape.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846928091
They are still respawning and fighting when ever I go visit even though I now have padded armor and black metal weapons and shield.

I lived on the free sausages for a long time and wound up with an entire chest of black metal scrap long before I found Moder's altar.

This is one of those that I'm pretty sure will be hilarious in retrospect... right now... it's exasperating but amusing in a 'how the hell?' way.
After pacifying the area around the Elder altar, I decided that I might as well prepare a base for the new raids and here I was with a nice stone tower I repurposed into a portal housing for area access and... that nice big metallic plate which would make a fine roof.
So I dug in and created the beginnings of an underground base, installed kiln and smelter, decided to just mine some copper and tin for the forge and crafting upgrades locally since there was plenty nearby. One copper node even sat between the stone tower and the altar.
So I started digging, got into the 'zone' as I dug out the perimeter ditch for the node, nothing interrupted me since I'd cleared the area. When my last pickaxe broke I went to go into the new base to repair them and that's when I realized something.
Not only had I managed to breach an opening into the altar base, but also managed to undermine a good bit of the tower.....
First time I've ever felt the need to fill up even a part of a copper mine.

Those are some awesome stories already, thanks to everyone for sharing! Very fun to read. I just love how in these kinds of games, we all play the same game and yet everyone can have a completely different experience. Though I must admit that there were suprisingly few trees so far ;)
I'll add one thing: I once had this iconic moment when a bird randomly flew right into my axe as I was about to chop something and I killed it. You often see this on youtube but I believe it took about a year of playtime for me to happen, actually felt like some kind of achievement that you have to had once or you haven't finished the game...

Had a ship full of silver, had been sailing for hours.. Nearly back to base when a 2-star Serpent attacks my boat, and I am nearly out of arrows. Crud..
I was like.. well, if I let it eat me, then my boat and silver won't sink. Probably? I hope.
Prepared to fist fight a sea serpent, I jump into the water.. and..
I land on the serpents head. Now, I am standing on a sea serpent's head as it swims around. This lasted only a few seconds, long enough for me to type into chat, Holy (*^*&% I am riding a *&^*(&^ sea serpent! A few seconds later, I punched it in the head and I fell off.
I probably should have opted to get a screen shot, but w/e.
Funny part? It swam away, AND I had enough stamina to get beck into my ship. That silver felt like I earned every ore.

I was heading home after mining some silver. Almost full deposit, wind on my tail... And a serpent appeared in front of me. Boat was slowed down for the weight of the cargo and the serpent was hitting it, so I decided to head to the nearest beach to fight it.
As soon as I defeat the serpent, a wolves raid hit me, and due to the lack of stamina, the tiredness and that I recently used potions and no chance to heal for some time, I just jumped into the boat and sailed away... Just in time to hit another sea serpent.
So I crossed the river to the swamp in the other shore, walked few meters into it... and an abomination spawned in front of me.
That was the moment I truly felt the game was trying to kill me for real. Who said Valheim isn't scary?
I truly feel I earned every silver ore in that ship :D

Well lets just say that the Lox i named was not deserved of that name.
Also when mining tar i somehow got smashed by a 2 star berserk ferling, when i climbed out to move the goods (and i didnt see anything due to fog). And when running back killed 4 times by moskitos.

Best Valheim and funniest moment at the same time :3 / During my first experience in valheim within my first couple hours i'm sitting there trying to learn about the game just running around frolicking through the grass fields and forestry and i'm jumping over rocks just having a blast. I get to a big blue rock and i keep trying to jump over it and i realize its moving and then i suddenly died. The ground shook. As a few seconds passed the camera panned and i realized a troll smacked me with a big stick. I loved it.
It was my first death, first troll encounter, first gameplay experience. I was hooked after that.

I wish I could. This is on a server that I don't own. You used to be able to get the seed of a server that you didn't own but the devs patched that out. The server owner hasn't played in over 3 months so I haven't been able to ask him for the seed.So cool! Could you please share the seed and the position so I can see it? Tried to carve a stairway to the top of the mountain that had the elder dragon spawn with my friend and we failed miserably because wolves and blue dragons became to much after 4 hours using all our gear that we accumulated, it was hilarious. I said in the end "this is a lost cause" and we started dying laughing.

A friend and i were caught by the wolfpack event on a mountain. There was an abandoned small building nearby and we made a mad dash for it. We were repairing from the inside like mad while the wolves were bashing to get in from all angles. We made it through but was just hilarious.

They don't attack the buildings so the fight lasts until all the fulings are killed and then I just sprint down and collect all the sparkling stuff laying on the ground.
When I first discovered it I was using iron gear and a troll cape.

They are still respawning and fighting when ever I go visit even though I now have padded armor and black metal weapons and shield.

I lived on the free sausages for a long time and wound up with an entire chest of black metal scrap long before I found Moder's altar.
The gray dwarves attacked the wraith and the troll attacked the abomination. I stepped to the side and watched the fight not paying attention to what else was happening. About halfway through the fight a nighttime swarm of wolves came down from the mountain and wiped out every thing.... including me.
