Questions about Valheim?
Im looking for a challenging type RPG/MMO I understand this doesent have PVP like in Rust or Ark, which would be awesome. But how challenging is the PVE? Also is there world or boss battles? that would a nice feature if more than 1 person were playing on a server, also hows the crafting?

Dark Age of Camelot. pvp is fully optional. It is a real RPG mmo with RPG servers still. Ever RP a mute player on a MMO? It's a pain in the ass.

The game is fairly challenging, some say it's "too" challenging.
The game lets you upgrade your gear, so you can out-gear the next areas of the game if it gets too hard.
It's definitely an awesome adventure, a feeling I haven't had with exploration/rpg games for a long time,
There is PvP, but it's very basic.
Bosses are a thing, and they are in the open world.
The crafting is exceptional, so is the building. Game supports 8 players on the same server I think, maybe more with mods, but it's kind of laggy atm with a lot of players.
Highly recommend playing with friends that live close to you, for best ping.

If you're into challenging games, Valheim will be quite easy as you'll figure out patterns and mechanics quickly.
There can be alot of cheesing if done right, making encounters easy, and unless you rush higher tier biomes before you're ready you won't really have a challenge.
And there's ALOT of gathering resources.
There are boss battles, but again the bosses can be cheesed easily for the most part.

Valheim's overall difficulty compared to all of the games I had ever played, is about 6/10. The game punishes players for dying with skill drains and tedious corpse loot retrieval, but these aren't difficulty factors. Skills boost characters enough to notice a slight difference, but doesn't give so much that starting a new character will feel underwhelming.
As Letozeth had mentioned, some players for some reason, find this game to be too difficult. Trust me when I say I am not a hardcore gamer. While I used to be nimble in PvP back during Wrath of the Lich King days in WoW, It has been over ten years since. Yet, I find fighting, exploring, building, and such in Valheim to be quite paced and calming.
Of course, the game is in EA. So expect additions and fixes over time.

This isn't a game where you just join some server in the browser and roll with it tho. It's sp unless you find a group with a dedicated server or the usual coop with friends on your world stuff.
