I know how to cook , when I try to remove the meat it will not come off the rack. Or when I bake my lox meat pie it will not come out of the oven.

listen for a sound which will tell u its done cooking and press E "interact with object to pickup cooked meat" if you leave it on to long it will turn to coal. Think most items have differing cook times.

You will hear a “sizzle” sound like juices falling into a hot fire when it is done.

if you leave a couple you will get coal, a useful material. No rush on that, but if you have excess meats.
