Message to Devs - Please consider Arachnophobia Mode before adding spiders

See title... Please and thank you :)

For example Satisfactory is brilliant but I can't play the game with the spiders in it despite the kitty cat Arachnophobia mode. So please can you find a solution to this issue before releasing spiders into the game.

EDIT: Thanks for the Awards on this post. It's remarkable how toxic some of the replies are here but I found some replies were constructive supporting both sides of the request despite there being possibly <1% of the players with phobias potentially in the 5 million+ players available. That said, thanks to everyone who did respond. If anyone mods; my solution is a 4 legged creature or something similar to a Headcrab.

For every aspect of life and video games, there are people afraid of those elements. Designing a game around avoiding anxiety disorders means a game that doesn't have any content whatsoever.

Because unless I'm misunderstanding this, you're saying that even a mode isn't going to help, yet asking them to implement one.

Ahh fair, though if it was a toggle, it would be fine.

No one needs to gatekeep, though I'm sure if spiders are added, there will be a mod in a week or less, lmao.

Yeah, I'm just kind of confused on this is all. I'm not against a toggle, but if the feature exists in another game, and the TC has an issue even with the toggle, then I'm not really sure what's being suggested here.

I think what they meant, was that though there was a toggle, it was still very obviously a spider, so it was still super sketch, thus they were hoping for a better job be done, if spiders are added.

Edit* after watching the above video, I'm no longer sure of the issue, though im sure it would be easy enough, to simply change spiders to some other mob, instead...
if thats the major issue, such as a Silk Worm or somefin.

Everyone likes worms. (via a toggle of course, as i like spiders.)

While i'm not against some special mode for people who don'l like spiders I personally can't wait for them and hope the whole biome would be scary nightmare.

And I've got pretty strong arachnophobia but I just LOVE the feeling being absolutely terrified in a safe environment (my room). Subnautica wsa one of my favourite game ever thanks to this and my utter fear of deep water.

So please, options - YES, scary spiders - MUST HAVE!

terrified of spiders, and other bugs, but damn do i find amusement in them in games... its weird.
