Its possible for a biome to spawn at a very small size, so maybe its like a micro swamp that happened to also get the geyser?

Wouldn't mind seeing a screenshot of that.

Thanks in advance. I haven't been playing with my friends lately and I doubt I'm alone in saying that I have unquenchable thirst for screenshots of unique natural formations found in the game lol.

That's awesome--a surtling spawn outside of the swamp. Haven't seen that one before.

All that dry grass around! That place is going to turn into an inferno! The tarpits could burn for months.

that's pretty unique! never seen anything like that. would you mind telling us the seed? i'd like to see if it can be replicated

i had such a geyser spawn near a mistlands biome and it was fully submerged in water from the get go. all surtlings died instantly upon me entering visible range. i guess the map generation can ♥♥♥♥ some things up^^

I have over 2000 hours in game and I can certify this as very unique. Nice find. Valheim never senses to amaze me.

I saw surtlings in plains too a few days ago. I'm playing on a new map and I've noticed a few new things in old biomes, figured it was just one of them.

I'm not sure it's all that unique. I think it's a new "feature" of map generation that not many have seen yet, but, given that three of us have seen it recently and posted, it seems like it might be fairly common on new maps.

Edit: It appears to be 4 now...

For clarification, location is north and no way near ashlands that could have bled over. Just really odd sight.

I've run into one (but only one) like that over the course of 8 or so worlds. A single jet of fire in the middle of a plains nowhere near a swamp.

Is it a swamp-type spawn with the flaming geyser? Is it near swamp?

I found one in black forest recently. It was fairly close to swamp, but well within black forest.
