No longer "good guys"
/hands out the cheese that will go with this whine.
Ok, I know we are dead viking so our status as "good" guys are dubious at best. But up until now, I can say, I haven't killed anyone that didn't attack me first (or would have if I got close enough).
Can't say that anymore. To progress in mistlands, you have to steal something from the dwarves, which will cause them to aggro. Which means there is a high probability someone will end up dead. Which is kind of sad, not only did the dwarves get left behind by their people, get kicked out of their homes by the bugs but now they have a rampaging viking looting and pillage what little remain of their homes.
/whine off.
So I haven't gotten to the point that I'm brave enough to take on the dwarves yet, but I'm guessing with a fire potion and Yag special ability, you could smash a crate, steal the item and run to the nearest portal before getting bbq?? Do the dwarves eventually de-aggro or will they attack on sight until killed?? I'm also assuming their isn't any racial reputation (thinking of WoW) so stealing/killing one group won't put you on the kill on sight list of all the other groups??
thanks.

this also occurred to me when I first started killing bosses. Each boss is located in it's own biome. Each biome has it's own unique enemies. What happens when you start killing bosses? Enemies from other biomes start spilling into the Meadows. We are quite literally throwing the natural order of the world out of balance. I doubt think we were good guys to start with.
You know all those "bosses" we've been killing?
Kinda seems like we've been murdering this world's natural spirits, so Odin can move in on the territory.
After you kill a few bosses, Odin will start appearing randomly in the world and just kinda watching you from afar.

I really feel like you should be able to trade for their goods.

They don´t de aggro. If you aggro one group of dvergr other groups are not affected.

Exactly this. We have Haldor as an example a chunk of Gold ought to be able to buy some of the stuff without bloodshd or (Oh wow such an orginal thought I am ashamed) they give you simple quests to get it!! ~Y'know Kill so many seekers donat so much material easy to code and execute stuff that at least gives options to the role players I really feel like you should be able to trade for their goods if you so desire.

We are the good guys. The Dverger are the bad guys because they aren't us, the good guys, therefore it's okay to kill them and take their stuff. Simple as.

There's no need to steal from them. Just um.. run to them to assist you killing bugs, and they do uh.. such a good job, you don't even need to attack the bugs! Just sit back, watch, grab some pop corn. If they all happen to die in the process, well they died with honor. Clean up the bugs, and loot the goods, no sense in leaving perfectly good supplies out in the wild after all, right?

That said, I really feel like you should be able to trade for their goods if you so desire. Each camp is its own "faction" as far as agro goes. One camp will hate you forever if you steal from them but the next one won't know about it.
I'd like to hire them to do my gardening for me.

I haven't agro'd a dwarf yet and I have 3 extractors and a tower as a base. A 2-star seeker soldier will annihilate a tower full of dwarves and is more than ready to chase you to the next one. I havent killed any of them. I was nearby when the bugs attacked them and the dwarves got wrecked. After I cleaned up the bugs I looted their newly abandoned settlement.
