Whose Online Dedicated Server

Hello...

I am aware the F2 function checks to see who is online amongst other details. However, when I am offline, I would like to check who and how many people are in the game without having to load up my game, login, and check via F2. Is this possible via a command line in the console, or perhaps a third party app that can check it for me that doesn't rely on logging in through the game itself?

For example, Minecraft allows me to use /who in the console to check whose online.

Just to give you context, I have a dedicated server on a mini-pc that I log in via RDP. Sometimes, I would need to update the server computer itself, or do something that is CPU-intensive and require me to quit all other non-essential software that is running. So in cases like this, I wouldn't want to just boot people in the middle of something, if I can help it.

Check it from the Steam server view, it will tell you how many are on. Also says who they are but not sure if that works with just friends. (But you may need to refresh, it doesn't update in real time)

Thank you. I'll look into the monitoring software, though I feel it's a bit overkill since they look like enterprise-level apps. However, it has set me on the path to look for something smaller and similar.
