Curious ? I am.

What's going to happen after the "End game" any thing?.

Will we just create a new seed / map and continue and do it all over again or would you go play another game?.

Reply's on a postcard please the to usual address. ;)

I'm hoping that if they add in more bosses (And they might due to Odin striking down seven Forsaken), I just hope they come after Yag

I would like to see further development of existing biomes. I really enjoy the plains, black forest and mountains. They are quite beautiful and pleasant. I like the aesthetic. I have little interest in the ugly eternal night of the mistlands.

It would be interesting if new resources and challenges in these early biomes were unlocked as you progress. The raid mechanic helps, but is limited in its entertainment value.

Tl;dr - new goals or activities would be nice, but maybe this is just whete people tend to tire of the game.

For the others in my original crew I think it was when we had crafted every item possible and built everything you could. We never even fought Yag, at first we were kinda waiting for more content, because we knew that would be the last fight. When most of us realized it wasn't coming anytime soon they stopped playing. I kept playing , not as much. But I started a new seed and did everything from scratch solo, just to see what it'd be like, and it was fun. Recently started a new new char and a new dedicated server with my daughter and a friend of hers. I try not to spoil anything , but it's hard not to.

I like the exploration part but frankly, the mining metal loop got boring. I don't want to spend any more time left clicking on mining nodes. I'd much rather killing mobs to get materials like with Black Metal.

If the next biome once again features the loop of left clicking nodes, I'm not going back lol. Maybe introduce a device that automatically mines but you need to power it up with tamed animals and/or defend it from raids?

After my first play through I added a couple QOL mods. Teleporting metals is the biggest. Lugging all that iron through swamps, sailing it back, smelting it…. It was like a full time job gettin 30 iron.

Ppl got bored because the mechanic is exactly the same from when you reach bronze til you reach the 5th boss: you mine metal off the ground, lug it back, melt it and make stuffs. You'll have to spend an insane amount of time just clicking on the metal veins and then another decade carrying them back to base on your long boat.

The worst of them is iron, which is also the most used metal. Crypt is RNG based, so you're not even guaranteed to find iron ore in there. Plus by the time you have silver gears, swamp is no longer a threat and the process of getting iron is more tedious than it is difficult.

Totally up to you. After defeating the final boss, nothing happens. Continue playing or don't. Your choice i guess.

Once the end is forgone i move on. So in Civ 5, when I know which victory is going to be mine well before the end of the game. I get OP in Skyrim and one shot just about everything. So at that point I might start a different game or if I still enjoy the one I'm on,restart with a new style or self imposed 'house rules'. I have not made it to OP in the plains here yet, but have restarted a few time now.

I <3 how a lot of players stop before Yag or quit after killing Yag, and they do not deal with goblins in the meadows at night.

Are you asking if people are planning on playing this game forever? When people are done with the game they'll stop playing.

My "endgame" will be whenever I get tired of it. Even after all the bosses are defeated. Game isn't near completion and already over 800 hours.

Really, you can always make the have fresh. Challenge yourself by taking things away. Every map is different terrain-wise, etc.

I have about 15 to 20 seeds I have worked on so far. I get most up to the plains then stop. Don't want to over develop the map before new content is added.

That really is the power of random map generation. Every seed is unique and provides new possibilities to explore.

I kind of feel sad for people who just want to kill bosses, only play one seed and be done with the game, I feel they are missing out on a lot of what the game has to offer. That said, not everyone has the luxury of lots of free time.

Random map generator can be hit or miss I guess. On my first seed I cleaned out what few boars there were and then spent hours running around aimlessly trying to find more. The whole world might have been glitched, but I wouldn't have known it considering it was my first play through.

My 2nd world seed there are plentiful boars and they actually respawn, having a lot more fun this time around.
