Yep, this art style is intentional.

If you don't like any blurriness, disable both "Motion blur" and "Depth of Field" in the Graphics Setttings.

Yeh I disabled that. I never noticed it so blurry around grass before. The art style is fine, I understand. It's just that odd blurry effect between other non blurry items makes me think my eyes are playing up!

Are there any graphics mods for something for this?

You can try a texture mod like Valheim HD to see if that gets rid of it, but whatever you're experiencing doesn't look normal to me. Are you running any mods otherwise? Tried changing the vegetation detail setting?

EDIT: It's normal. Turning SSAO off seems to get rid of the "blur".

It definitely looks different with it off, but I think the blurriness probably comes and goes based on the lighting conditions, since that's what SSAO deals with. I hadn't noticed it either but I could tell when I looked for it.

Yeh it removes it but also makes the game look washed out. I guess they made some changes with SSAO since I first played. I just have issues with my eyes headaches, seizures and such so seeing blurry things ends up scaring me. Haha.

Might be worth a shot downloading a texture mod anyway? I think if you have headaches and seizures the cleaner textures could help.

Yeh I might do that when my brain gets the energy to do it. The blurriness is also more of a thing that triggers me, cause when I am about to pass out or get migraines i kind of see this bloom type blurriness - and this just reminds me of it, so i just get apprehensive its me and not the game haha.

What puts me off is that sometimes its not blurry at a distance, but as it approaches me there is a blur around my character.

I played this a year or so ago and never noticed or maybe had this issue??
